Half Term Fun

We’re so happy to be able to offer a week of FREE events again this half term. Plus, two fantastic shows in our Theatre on Monday and Friday. Both really affordable and entertaining for the whole family.

Here are the details of our Family Fun Week.

Perfect for a first trip to the Theatre
CRAFTY’S CREEPY CASTLE – Monday 23 October, 2pm

If you’re looking for an ideal show to bring your little one to, then this is it. The running time is just 40 minutes, every child gets a present at the end of the show, there’s lots of singing along and audience participation – plus nothing too scary and lots of friendly and fun characters. And on top of all that – tickets are under a tenner!

Why has Crafty the Crow gone to live in a haunted castle? Can Sally the Scarecrow help him with its ghostly goings-on? And what haunted happenings are making things go bump in the night?Come in your scariest Halloween costume and join the adventure to find the hidden treasure in Crafty’s Creepy Castle, then meet Crafty afterwards receive a special Trick Or Treat present!

Perfect for all the family
THE WIZARD OF OZ – Friday 27 October, 2pm & 6pm

Who doesn’t love The Wizard of Oz? This colourful musical adaptation is great for both young and old to enjoy. Plus it stars Jen Pringle from Channel 5’s MILKSHAKE.

So click your heels together and join Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, Dorothy and her little dog Toto, as they journey through the magical land of Oz to meet the Wizard and obtain their hearts’ desires. Watch out for the Wicked Witch of the West as you rediscover the real story of Oz in this fantastic musical treat for the whole family.

Miniature Horses – We’ll have a visit from tiny ponies, Chocolat and Tony the Pony in our theatre foyer. From 10.30am
CREW Workshops – two ‘horrible history’ type drama workshops with the folks from CREW based on ‘Lest we Forget’ and the Ancient Greeks. 11am & 2pm
Drawing Club – get stuck in with some arts and crafts in our gallery, plus take part in our Aladdin colouring competition. 11.30am – 3.30pm
Face Painting from 10.30am. Small charge of £1.50

Owl Display – Come to our theatre foyer and meet some beautiful live owls. From 10.30am
