Wednesday 17 October: Pre-show talk and Q&A with writer and director Gary Wilmot. 6pm, tickets free.
"He’s lived a life, has Harry. But it would be terrible if something from his past came back to bite him on the arse."
The Regis Centre is delighted to be welcoming West End star Gary Wilmot and the World Premiere of his new play Sweet Lorraine.
Harry Burns, (Harry Burton), a highly respected Jazz musician is accepting of a life where the good times and fame are behind him. He now pays his bills by teaching music, and when Lorraine Travis, (Martha Dancy), sits at his piano for her first lesson, Harry’s life takes a thrilling turn - he is inspired, excited and adored again. Lorraine brings more than just talent and enthusiasm into his life, when he is faced with the truth of his past.
This is the world premiere of Gary’s thriller, starring Harry Burton, Martha Dancy, Ben Fox and Katy Osborne.
Featuring an exhilarating jazz score, this suspenseful story will keep audiences on the edge of their seat.
Gary Wilmot has recently been seen at the London Palladium, first in a smash hit run as Badger in The Wind in the Willows and as Sarah the Cook in the enchanting and star studded production of Dick Whittington. He also stars in Flowers for Mrs Harris at the Chichester Festival Theatre for their 2018 Festival Season.
